The Huazhen Tibetan and Qiang Culture Museum in Chengdu, Sichuan has a collection of 4587 embroideries of Tibetan and Qiang culture. The art of Tibetan and Qiang embroidery was recognized as an intangible cultural heritage by the state in 2014 and is protected by the Ministry of Culture of China.
The works are collected by many heads of state and museums including Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Tanzanian President Jakaya Kikwete.
